From Lavender Green Farm
1 Boxed White Cake Mix (recommend Duncan Hines)
Follow mixing directions but also add:
2 Tbs of (organic) crushed lavender buds
2 Tbs of rose flavored syrup
Use a greased and floured bundt pan. Follow cooking directions. When you pull it out of the oven, cover in foil (for added moisture.) When cooled, turn onto plate.
Frost cake with 1 can of Cream Cheese Whipped frosting (or make your own Cream Cheese Frosting). Sprinkle the top of the cake with 1 tsp of lavender buds. Garnish plate with fresh mint leaves, or your favorite flower, like daisies or pansies.
(You can also use yellow, lemon, orange, or chocolate cake mix.) People love the unique taste of lavender. We get rave reviews each time we serve it!

I have made this cake for my book club. My friends love to experience food with a twist and lavender definitely adds a fun surprise in the flavor of this cake. I heard Lavender Green in Knox is open for touring this summer. I’ve been there to visit and it such a beautiful place. http://www.lavendergreen.com It will get you hooked on lavender!
