Hi, Since we all love Franklin, would you like to vote it Coolest Smalltown in America 2012? I have just nominated it in Budget Travel Magazine, all you have to do is click the link, and click to vote. (you can vote once a day, we are 7th already!)

If Franklin wins, actually the top 10, will get a write up and photo in Budget Travel, a super magazine.

I heard about Franklin Foodie from Leslie & Sonja at Restoration Herbs. I am looking forward to joining the group when they do their next outing in the Franklin area. Please let me know when you plan your next event...it sounds like a great idea, lots of fun, and good food.

I wish we could get some good cheese supplies to the Franklin area...I go to the Strip to get a lot of the cheeses I like to use and would love to be able to purchase them locally.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I think I went to Rochester High School with you. I was Pamela Taylor then. I've never contacted anyone from school before (whom I'm not still in touch with), but I saw your blog and was so impressed. I live in Nashville TN and am a foodie, farmer's mkt groupie, hippie, mom of college student, theatre and music lover. I look forward to keeping up with your blog.

Hello!

Just wanted to let you know of another great place to get local food, including organic produce and herbs, home canned jams, mustards and pickles, and grass fed beef, pork, chicken & lamb. My husband and I run Pleasant Valley Farm in Tionesta and are open to the public on Saturdays. I'd love it if we could have our farm added to your list of local links! Please feel free to contact me for more information.

Hi Ann,
I've been reading your articles in the Galena Signal and was wondering if you would be interested in being a guest writer/blogger on my Franklin Foodie blog. I believe you have an informed and interesting point of view that foodies would be interested in reading. You can submit an article to me in Microsoft Word. Attach it in an email to me and I'll post it on my blog. Would you be interested? Let me know.
Thanks,
Lisa Manders

Hi Lisa - Great to see you last night at Bella's Wine Pairing Dinner - wasn't it simply the best? I said I'd get you the e-mail of the CSA headquartered in Slippery Rock. It's www.nwpagrowers.com. Check it out, we were members last year and loved it - great local produce every week all summer long. Hope to see you again soon. Ann
